Today mommy and I went over to Grandma Angie’s house. They were doing a trial baking run of stuff for my birthday party. Mommy was trying to do something fun for my party – she doesn’t want me to know what it is, but she seemed really happy by how it all came out. I guess that’s a good thing, right?
Mommy and Daddy wanted to go see a movie so they asked Grandma Angie to watch me. I like going to her house. She’s got lots of room for me to crawl and play. It was going to be my bedtime soon so I’m wearing my new pajamas and slippers. They are comfy cozy.
What? Yeah I’m rocking my elmo slippers. They are awesome and look how good I’m standing. They used to get in my way and make it hard for me to do stuff, but I managed to stand up OK in them. I hope I can walk in them when the time comes. Grandma Angie & Daddy have said they’ve seen me walk without holding on to anything in my pack & play. Grandma said I did it yesterday and I did it today too. Mommy hasn’t seen me do it yet though. Maybe she’ll see me do it in my elmo slippers:)

My day care is closed for the next couple of weeks so everyone is pitching in to watch me. Today I went to Grandma Angie’s house.
It was 80 degrees today! Mommy was so excited for the warm weather. She put me in my first shorts outfit! Here I am in it – playing with Grandma Angie. That’s my activity table. I got it from Jill, Joe & their boys. It’s a fun table. So much to do. Grandma Angie thought it was funny cause I started wiggling my tushy when the music played. After we played inside, we went outside for awhile. We sat under the shade of the tree on the side of the house. Mommy laid out a blanket and I played for a bit until the fresh air made me sleepy then I took a long nap.
I love my jumperoo!! It is so much fun. I had another busy day today. We went to visit my next door neighbor, Rosie. She’s sick at a rehab center. Mommy and I took a walk over there early this morning. Then mommy walked with me to CVS – I needed diapers. We were out for over an hour and I slept most of the way in my jogging stroller. Then mommy had Grandma Angie come over and help keep an eye on me so she could do some housecleaning. Grandma Angie took me for a walk too and I slept some more. Then mommy and I went to see her friend Anita again. Anita’s babies are coming next weekend so I won’t get to see her for awhile. Mommy went to get a few more picture of her before those babies come. While we were there, we went to the park for a bit. All that fresh air made me sleepy, again 🙂 Then I came home and had some dinner, played with mommy, then played with daddy and off to bed I went.
Happy Easter! Grandma Angie is making dinner and invited Grandpa Sal, me, mommy and daddy over. This is my easter outfit. Mommy bought me this new hat today – she says I need to always wear a hat to keep the sun from giving me a sunburn!
Daddy had hockey this morning so Grandma Angie came by to keep an eye on me while mommy was at work. I still have a cold – now the congestion is dripping from my head in to my throat making me need to cough a lot. Mommy was afraid the cold was moving in to my chest so she called the dr to get me an appointment and when daddy came home from hockey (his team won!) he took me to see Dr. Gerry. She said my lungs were clear – no congestion there (yay) – but I do have a slight ear infection. She prescribed me some medicine. My first prescription! Mommy picked it up on her way home from work and gave me some. It wasn’t too bad – it’s cherry flavored 🙂 Oh yeah, Dr Gerry weighed me and now I am up to 15 lbs 12 oz – I’m a big boy.
So daddy was off from work today and he made dinner and invited Grandma Angie over 🙂 She and I were hanging out while Daddy was getting everything ready…
