Mommy dressed me up in fancy clothes today and took me to the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay to take some pictures. Daddy couldn’t go because he had to go upstate to his hunting property and get some stuff from his trailer. Maybe daddy can come with us to the arboretum some other time because it was really nice.

So I was outside again today! Mommy made daddy come outside with us so he could see how good I could stand on the grass. She took a picture so now you can see how good I can stand too!
Mommy’s been taking me outside so we can enjoy the last days of summer, and so I can practice my standing and walking on the grass!!! When I’m outside, all the neighbors seem to come outside too 🙂 This is one of my neighbors – it’s a dog – he belongs to our neighbor Trish. I don’t remember his name though. But he was cute and liked rubbing his back on the lawn. I like dogs – I hope I get a dog someday. Maybe when I learn how to feed myself with a spoon!
When mommy or daddy are done feeding me, they let me play with my spoon. Maybe someday soon I’ll learn how to feed myself.
What are you doing over there? Me? I’m just hanging in my pack n play…..like I do every morning when my parent’s get ready for work! (and PS – my mommy saw me walk in my pack n play at Grandma Angie’s house!!)
What? Yeah I’m rocking my elmo slippers. They are awesome and look how good I’m standing. They used to get in my way and make it hard for me to do stuff, but I managed to stand up OK in them. I hope I can walk in them when the time comes. Grandma Angie & Daddy have said they’ve seen me walk without holding on to anything in my pack & play. Grandma said I did it yesterday and I did it today too. Mommy hasn’t seen me do it yet though. Maybe she’ll see me do it in my elmo slippers:)

I’m wearing my baby legs. They are like leg warmers. They keep my legs protected when I crawl around on the floor. Daddy thinks they are stupid, but mommy thinks they are awesome. I kind of have no say – but they are warm, and they do protect me knees…….
We spent the night at Grandma Candy & Grandpa Richie’s house. I like visiting them because I get to play with everyone and they have a cat and a dog! And my Grandpa Richie is silly – I like that.
I was supposed to go to the Dutchess County Fair today but the traffic getting there was sooooooooo bad! We decided to ditch that plan and do something else instead. Mommy wanted to get Japanese Hibachi so we drove to Poughkeepsie to get some 🙂 I had a little bit of mommy’s chicken. It was yummy. The other people were worried I might be scared by the knives and the fire – but I wasn’t. They thought I was pretty chill. And I thought the chef was pretty funny – he’d make me laugh.
