It’s finally time for my jumperoo!!! Mommy has been wanting to take it out of the box and let me test drive it – but she was afraid of putting me in too soon. But I am sooooo ready for it now 🙂 I really like this purple hippo dude – he’s fun to bite on…..
This is the view that mommy came home to – daddy took me outside for a long time and we played a lot, it made me very tired and I was sound asleep when she got home at 7…….I know you wish I was awake to play mommy but don’t worry, I’ll see you in the morning 🙂
Happy Easter! Grandma Angie is making dinner and invited Grandpa Sal, me, mommy and daddy over. This is my easter outfit. Mommy bought me this new hat today – she says I need to always wear a hat to keep the sun from giving me a sunburn!
It is a beautiful day today – mommy got me up and dressed early so we could go see another Easter Bunny. This one was at the Hicks Garden Center in Westbury. That place is really big and really nice – but maybe their Easter Bunny could use a little bath?
Today I went to work with mommy!! She’s been wanting to bring me in to meet her co-worker’s for a long time now. But it’s not easy trucking in to NYC with a little one so she wanted to wait until the weather got warmer and hope for a day when things wouldn’t be too busy – work wise or traffic wise!!! She said commuting was kind of easy all week because not only is my day care closed, but a lot of schools are closed! So lots of parents take off this week to be home with their kids. And because today is Good Friday and even more people take off, she figured today was a great day to bring me in. We hit a little bit of traffic on the way in (darn pot hole repairs on the BQE!!!) and a little traffic on the way home (darn LIE!!!) – but I slept the whole way so it was ok. Mommy said her guardian angel must have been looking out for her!
I had a lot of fun at mommy’s office. First off – as you can see from the pic below, her office has a LOT of stuff in it, just like our house so it made me feel like I was at home 🙂 Well, except for all the people. But they are all really nice people. They all wanted to play and make silly faces at me – they made me laugh and smile. I wasn’t the only kid there either. Susan brought Jordan in too. Do you remember Susan and Jordan, they had come to visit me with Laura before mommy went back to work. Oh yeah, and Laura was there too. Her belly is getting bigger – she’s got a baby inside. And Marcy came by to visit too – she works in a different building then mommy but she came downtown just to see me 🙂 But there were lots of people I got to meet for the first time, like Leah and Dierdre and Elizabeth and Val and Kim and Erin and Jean and Lesley and Lisa and Kathy and Mike and Mark and Dave and Chris and another Erin and Watchen and Elyssa and Darry and Rod and Sid and Angelita (who forgot I was coming otherwise she would have brought in her daughter Kaylee who was born two weeks before me!)….and whew lots more people I’m forgetting about now!!

after hanging out with all these people, I got a little pooped and took a nap on a comfy bean bag chair in mommy’s office……
Eating some cereal – I love when daddy feeds me – he does a good job.
Mommy wanted to make sure that she and Daddy got to take me for my first Easter Bunny visit together. He’s working on Saturday when the Easter Bunny is going to be at Hicks Nursery and she was planning on taking me. So she called the mall and found out the Easter Bunny was there until 8:30 at night. Since the weather finally got nicer today she asked daddy if we could go when she got home from work. We got to the mall and the parking lot was packed!! Daddy looked at all the cars and said to Mommy, “What recession??” We got a little nervous because we thought there might be a line to see the Easter Bunny – but thankfully there was no one there when we walked up!! I got to take me picture right away 🙂
Daddy had hockey this morning so Grandma Angie came by to keep an eye on me while mommy was at work. I still have a cold – now the congestion is dripping from my head in to my throat making me need to cough a lot. Mommy was afraid the cold was moving in to my chest so she called the dr to get me an appointment and when daddy came home from hockey (his team won!) he took me to see Dr. Gerry. She said my lungs were clear – no congestion there (yay) – but I do have a slight ear infection. She prescribed me some medicine. My first prescription! Mommy picked it up on her way home from work and gave me some. It wasn’t too bad – it’s cherry flavored 🙂 Oh yeah, Dr Gerry weighed me and now I am up to 15 lbs 12 oz – I’m a big boy.
So the day care center is closed this week. Thank goodness daddy is off of work for three days – he’s gonna be watching me today, tomorrow and Wednesday 🙂 I like it when I get to spend so much time with Daddy!
It was an interesting day for me. I’ve had a bit of a cold for a while now and today I slept alot! Mommy says I haven’t napped like this in weeks. It’s kind of dreary and cold out side so who wouldn’t want to curl up and nap!!! Here I am hanging out on the couch watching Minute to Win It…a silly new game show on NBC.
