Day 235

La la la, la la la, elmo’s song……la la la, la la la, elmo’s song…….I love elmo!!!  Daddy plays me the video of elmo singing elmo’s song on you tube all the time!  I love it.  No matter what I am doing, the minute I here elmo sing “la la la” I stop what I’m doing and look for him 🙂   If you’ve never seen it, I highly recommend you go on You Tube and check it out.  Mommy loves it when elmo says, “I want to sing La La La Gordon song” – she sounds just like elmo when she says it.

Day 234

Ha ha – look at me – I’m up on all fours!  I haven’t figured out how to move like this – right now I do what my parents call the “army crawl” – but they think I’ll be crawling on my hands & knees soon.  But I bet it doesn’t matter if I don’t do that and keep just doing my army crawl.  I still manage to get around super fast – mommy and daddy can barely keep up with me.  And I can get in to a sitting position on my own now too.  Ain’t nothing gonna breaka my stride, nobody gonna slow me down, oh no, I got to keep on moving…….

Day 233

This is the bib my Great Aunt Dawn bought me.  She bought me an elmo hoodie too but it’s still a little too big for me.  But daddy says I’ll fit in to it in no time the way I am growing 🙂

Day 232

So vacation is over 😦  We drove back from MD this morning and boy am I tired

Day 231 – Vacation (cont.)

We were supposed to leave this morning but mommy and daddy decided to stay the day and drive at night.  Since the weather had gotten cooler from yesterday – no more 100 degree temps – we headed back to the water park!  I have to wear a float in the pool but the ones at the park were too big for me and they kept squishing my face the other day.  When mommy and daddy went shopping yesterday, they bought me a new suit that had floats sewn in to it.  It fit me SOOOO much better.  It was a lot more fun in the pools this time 🙂  Of course I don’t have a pic to show you of me in the pool with it on cause that would mean a shot of mommy or daddy in their bathing suit!!  So here I am with Cousin Christy after I had gotten changed and we were getting ready to leave.  Cousin Christy is fun – she’d make silly faces that made me laugh and laugh.

**this is a picture of me in my new swimmy suit!  Mommy wanted me to try it on after she bought it to make sure it fit – it was a little big but it works!

Day 230 – Vacation (cont.)

This is me and Aunt Dawn.  Isn’t she pretty.  She is super nice too 🙂  She watched me while mommy and daddy went in to town to do some shopping.  It was 100 degrees out today so I would have hated going shopping with mommy and daddy.  Thankfully Aunt Dawn was happy to let me stay and play with her.  When mommy and daddy got back from shopping, they all took showers and got ready to go out for a crab dinner.  I wasn’t gonna eat crabs but the grown ups were.  By the time we got out of the house the skies were starting to get real dark.  A big storm was on the way!  Thank goodness Uncle Jeff’s good friend runs the crab place and he was able to get us a table right away – even though there were a line of people at the door.  Not long after we sat down the skies opened up and there was a crazy downpour for like 20 minutes!!  There was thunder and lightening too.  It was cool to watch through the windows at the restaurant.

I hung out in my new portable high chair that mommy had gotten me for the trip.  It worked out great for me at the restaurant (and at Uncle Jeff’s house too!!)  After awhile I got sleepy again – you can check out the video mommy posted to you tube 🙂

Day 229 – Vacation (cont.)

This is what I look like after a day at the water park!!  Oh yeah, that was my first time at the water park and boy was it fun!!!  There was a kiddie pool that I played in with mommy and daddy for a long time.  At one point daddy was throwing me up in the air to make me laugh – and he did it a bunch of times and I kept smiling and giggling.  Then one time I didn’t – and he says to mommy – I think he fell asleep.  She said no way, that can’t be, you’re throwing him in the air – but guess what, I WAS sleeping.  Ha Ha.  Aunt Dawn watched me as daddy, mommy and Uncle Jeff went on water slides.  After awhile I woke up again and went back in the pool for some more play time.  This time I stayed awake, in the pool.  But when I went back to our table, I kind of got tired again…….

Sorry no pics of me playing in the pool – mommy and daddy say they need to go on a diet before I can post any more pics of them in bathing suits.

Thanks for my new swim outfit Susan and Jordan 🙂  Daddy and Uncle Jeff said it’s good luck cause the USA scored a goal and tied the game after mommy got me dressed.  GO USA!!

Day 228 – Vacation (cont.)

This was a weekend of firsts!  Not only did I go on vacation for the first time – but I went to the beach for the first time!  Well, the first time to go to the beach to actually get to sit on the beach 🙂  It was super hot but Aunt Dawn had two umbrellas so we had lots of shade.  Mommy brought my blow up pool so I had something to play in and keep cool.  It was lots of fun.   When I wasn’t playing in the pool or eating, I was napping.  It was nice and warm and cozy.  I liked crawling around on the blanket.  There was a lot of this gritty stuff all over the place and I liked sticking my hands in it and trying to put them in my mouth.  But for some reason mommy didn’t want me eating it – I don’t know why.  Daddy says that’s why he doesn’t like going to the beach – all that gritty stuff is annoying.  I don’t know – I thought it was kind of fun to play with.

Day 227 – Vacation!!!

I know, I know – ya’ll must have been worried, I haven’t posted for a week!  But what’s a boy to do when he’s on VACATION!!  That’s right,  V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N, vacation!!  This was my first vacation and we went down to Ocean City, Maryland to visit my daddy’s Uncle Jeff and Aunt Dawn and Cousin Christy!  Who has time to update a blog when you’re having as much fun as I was 🙂

Here I am with daddy and Uncle Jeff out on the boardwalk.  It was a really nice way to end the day!!  We had left NY later then planned so we hit a LOT of traffic on the way down.  That and we had to stop a few times cause I got fussy in the car.  What can I tell you, I’m new to this vacation thing and I didn’t know that sitting in the car for such a long time was gonna have such a cool pay off!

Then we just hung around the house for a bit, got settled in and had some dinner.  Then we headed back in the car to go to the boardwalk.  I was pretty pooped already and super fussy again in the car (hey, who wanted to go back in there after spending all that time in the morning!) – but I finally fell asleep for a bit.  We got to the boardwalk and while I was napping, they all played the water balloon race and won me a prize!  Then after a bit I woke up cause I didn’t want to miss out on all the excitement.  That’s when we took this picture.
